Nyssa Slimack, APNP

Nyssa is an advanced practice nurse working with Dr. Gershtenson. She graduated in 2015 from Alverno College in Milwaukee with a Masters Degree in Nursing and is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Nyssa has worked at CompOrtho, and directly with Dr. Gershtenson, for 9.5 years. Prior to that, she worked as an RN with a pediatric orthopedic surgeon in Milwaukee for 5 years.

Nyssa has extensive experience in casting, ultrasound guided injections, PRP injections, surgical first assisting and office consultations. She enjoys practicing alongside Dr. Gershtenson’s expertise of hand and upper extremity conditions.

Nyssa is the proud wife to the best total joint Dr in town and mother to two children, Nicholas and Penelope. She enjoys time creating memories with her family and traveling.
